Round Candy

This elegant watch is inspired by the bird island of Runde, located on the outer edge of the ocean in Herøy, outside Ålesund. The bird cliff is the most species-rich seabird site in all of Scandinavia, and is a nesting area for approximately 30,000 pairs of puffins. Previously, the island was a nesting area for around 100,000 pairs, but due to overfishing and climate change, the population is now red-listed.

This version of Runde is strongly inspired by the beautiful bird, and the case back is embossed with a puffin.

The Runde Candy features raised Arabic numeral markers and a recessed subdial for seconds. It comes on a specially designed perlon strap.
