Preserved memories and forgotten farms – Ljøen farm in Stranda Municipality

Many of the farms have been restored and can be seen from the fjord, while others have been torn down by avalanches and rock- and mudslides, and lost to posterity. But local history books, enthusiasts who have met the last inhabitants, and public archives bring the stories to life, and are our sources for truly authentic and true stories.
